Bag O’ Nails

Once a live music club and meeting place for musicians, now – since 2013, when it re-opened – a private members club and “the leading karaoke club in town” (sigh!).

In the 60s the Bag O’ Nails hosted an early gig by the Jimi Hendrix Experience (Jimi’s second official gig in London, on the 25th of November 1966) and it’s the place where Paul McCartney met his future wife Linda Eastman on the 15th of May 1967.

Among the regulars at the club were The Who, Eric Burdon & The Animals, and many others.
