Here’s the Clissold Arms, the pub where the Davies brothers first performed in public, directly opposite their childhood home.
The pub went through a bland and uninspiring makeover in 2008, and despite maintaining a cocktail lounge dedicated to The Kinks, with plenty of pics and memorabilia, the place really looks like just another gastropub. Worth a visit though, regardless.
