Marquee Studios

In 1964 Moody Blues manager/producer Alex Murray used a homemade studio in the garage at the back of the Marquee Club (in its second incarnation, on Wardour Street).

The studio was later used by the Buzzcocks, Elton John, The Groundhogs, The Clash, Siouxsie And The Banshees, Killing Joke, Daevid Allen, Van Der Graaf Generator, and others.

It is now part of Soho Lofts as well as the former Marquee Club.

Address: Richmond Mews, Soho, London
