Middle Earth

Between August 1967 and March 1968, the likes of Pink Floyd, The Who, The Pretty Things, Jefferson Airplane, Captain Beefheart, The Byrds (with Gram Parsons), Marc Bolan and T.Rex played the legendary Middle Earth club.

Trident Studios

Trident Studios was a British recording facility where, among many other artists (The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, T Rex, Lour Reed, Frank Zappa, Black Sabbath, etc), David Bowie recorded his albums Hunky Dory and The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust, and his legendary single Space Oddity.

Marc Bolan’s Rock Shrine

Marc Bolan, of glam-rock band T-Rex, died here in Barnes, London, on the 16th of September 1977. The site has become a place of pilgrimage to Bolan’s fans after since.
