Is there a rock place more legendary than the UFO Club? London’s first psychedelic club started on the 23rd of December 1966 and closed its doors on the 28th of July 1967, but those who lived that era will never forget it.
Jimi Hendrix’s Flat
From July 1968 to June 1969, Jimi Hendrix lived on the upper floor of 23 Brook Street, in Mayfiar, next door to Handel House (at 25 Brook Street), where the great composer George Frideric Handel lived from 1723 until his death in 1759.
