The Garage

Originally the Temperance Billiard Hall, a notorious meeting place for the Highbury Mob, the venue later became the London Town & Country Club 2, a sister venue to the one (now The Forum) in Kentish Town, which is when the first live music events began to be programmed in the building.
Since 1993 this is one of the finest indie and rock venue in North London and a staple in its nightlife scene, despite partially losing some of its status in recent years. It was renamed The Garage by Mean Fiddler after the Lex Garage which was once next door.

Pulp was the first big name to play the venue in May 1993. The Killers, Jack White, Mumford & Sons, Suede, Green Day, Muse, Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and Oasis, to name a few, came in their wake over the years.

Address: 20-22 Highbury Corner, Highbury East, London N5 1RD
